The well-loved amenities of Dolores Park are in need of significant rehabilitation. The project team has organized a series of community workshops. The first workshop is this Thursday, June 2, 6:30PM at Mission High School cafeteria.
Workshop #1: The design team & city staff will introduce themselves & the project, then lead groups on a site walk to evaluate the park’s existing conditions. Groups will report back about their findings & brainstorm improvement needs.
It is important to the project team and steering committee that the Latino community participates in the process to ensure the park’s renovations meet the needs of the entire community. Translation, childcare, snacks and drinks provided. Please see the Dolores Park June 2 Workshop Announcement and share with your friends.
Please join your neighbors at the first community meeting to discuss the improvements and help ensure that the plan addresses the diverse needs of the park and its users.
